Angela C. Schulz, Attorney at Law (North Carolina)
After completing my undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech in 2006 (Go Hokies!), I moved to Charlotte where I worked for eight (8) years with two German manufacturers in the automotive and educational furniture industries in sales, compliance, and production planning roles.
I practice corporate, employment, immigration, and estate planning law in North Carolina, advising clients on the application of North Carolina law to various business and employment issues, as well as on wealth transfer strategies regarding trust administration, will construction, and intestate succession.
Previously, I practiced international law with a boutique international firm in Charlotte, NC where my primary responsibilities included preparing, negotiating, and interpreting international contracts for global manufacturing clients in cross-border and domestic transactional matters, including stock and asset purchases with multi-year earn-out structures, executive employment agreements, employment-based visas, supply and distribution contracts, and commercial leases. My client matters also included directing international estate planning and estate administration matters for high net worth international individuals and owners of closely-held businesses. I have also worked in-house with a pharmacogenetics and toxicology lab and for in sales and compliance for various German manufacturers in Charlotte.
I am professionally fluent in German, and in my free time, I enjoy painting, tinkering with electronics, exploring North Carolina’s vineyards and waterfalls, and restoring my movie-replica Jurassic Park jeep.
